Aman Traders

Aman Traders is located right in the middle of Raviwar Peth, near the old Bhaji Mandai. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people and carts. We are right by Tejwani Dresses, which is an easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. Trading is a lot of work, mostly involving moving boxes and checking lists. The building is older, so the stairs creak a bit and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We’ve been here for years, through the rain and the heat. It’s a hectic place to work because of the market nearby, but there is always something happening. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People find us because they’ve been coming here for a long time or their fathers did. We deal with all sorts of items, and the inventory changes based on what we can get our hands on at the time. It’s dusty work, and my hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We take a break when the market slows down in the afternoon. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a living. We just try to get the orders right and make sure the truck can actually park nearby without getting a ticket from the police. Just local folks doing trade in a busy market spot every single day.
