Adharsh Sweeta

Our shop, Adharsh Sweeta, is located at Shivaji Nagar Shop No-8. It is a small space but we make it work every day. Usually, the morning starts with the smell of milk boiling and sugar being mixed for the day's batches of sweets. We have these glass counters where we line up the different trays of barfi, peda, and other items we've prepared. It gets quite hot in the back where the cooking happens, so we take turns standing out front where the breeze comes in from the street. Shivaji Nagar is always busy, and there are people walking past our door from morning until late at night. We see a lot of office workers stopping by to pick up a box of something sweet on their way home. Some days are much busier than others, especially when there is a festival or some local celebration going on. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything like that. It's just a simple shop with white tiled walls and our storage containers stacked up. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the boxes are folded and ready for customers. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to say hello or ask about the time. We’ve been at Shop No-8 for a while, and we just focus on making the sweets and getting them into the display. It's a lot of manual work and we stay on our feet most of the time. That is how it goes here.
