Adarsha Sweets is located over on G/R Road 8 in the Shivaji Nagar area. If you live around here, you probably pass us all the time. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a standard storefront with the usual display cases and a faded sign. We have been in this spot for a while now. Every day starts early, usually before the sun is even up, so we can get the first round of milk sweets ready. The smell of ghee usually fills the street by 7 AM. It’s a lot of manual labor, stirring big pots and cutting trays of halwa by hand. We don't use much machinery because we never really felt the need for it. Some days are quieter than others, but we keep the same routine regardless. The neighbors often drop by for a quick chat while they pick up their evening snacks. Sometimes we run out of the popular items early, and people get a bit annoyed, but that is just how it goes when you make things in small batches. We use the space we have, which isn't much, but it works for what we do. The floor is old stone and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but the focus is always on what is in the containers. It’s a basic operation run by people who grew up in this neighborhood. We just do our thing every single day.
