Adarsh Sweets is over in Chinchwad, specifically at the Amit Complex in Navi Peth, A-9 Building, Chinchwadgaon. This part of town is always buzzing, especially during the festival seasons. We have a small area in the back where the cooking happens. You can usually smell the sugar and the ghee from down the street. We start very early in the morning to get the fresh batches of sweets ready before the shops open. Navi Peth is a crowded area, so parking near Amit Complex can be a bit of a nightmare for people. Inside the shop, we have glass counters where we display the barfis, pedas, and laddoos. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and weighing out portions for customers. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky, so we’re constantly mopping it down. Chinchwadgaon has a lot of history, and the people here really appreciate traditional tastes. We try to keep things simple and just focus on making what people like. It gets really hectic during Diwali or Ganpati, with lines going out the door and us barely having time to sit down. The A-9 building is easy to spot once you get into the main market area. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the complex grow around us. We also get some people asking about the A/P-Bhuinj location details sometimes. It’s a lot of hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing the same families come back year after year makes it feel worth it.
