Acc Cement

Our spot is called Pitrachhaya, located at Sr. No. 171 on Old Phursungi Road. We’re near the Harpale Vasti area in Phursungi Malwadi, which is part of the Haveli tehsil in Pune. This area has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more crowded, but we’re still here handling the Acc Cement business. The road outside can get pretty backed up with traffic, especially with all the new development happening around Pune. Pitrachhaya is a familiar name to those who live nearby, so we usually just tell people to look for that. The office is straightforward and humble. We have a front area where people can wait, though it’s usually just a couple of chairs and a table with some old newspapers. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that keep the air moving during the afternoon. Most of the people we deal with are local builders or folks from the nearby villages who are doing some construction. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sitting at the desk going over the daily tallies. It’s a very hands-on way of working. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a delivery note. We like being in this part of Pune because it feels more real than the shiny new IT parks. It’s a bit messy and loud sometimes, but it’s our base and we know every inch of it.
