If you are driving along the Katraj Dehu Road Bypass, you might have seen our sign. We are tucked into Survey No 13 in the Ambegaon Budruk area. It is a busy part of Pune, especially with all the heavy traffic on the bypass road. The school has been part of this neighborhood for a good while. We have a mix of students coming from all over this side of the city. The building is simple and we use the space we have to the fullest. We have got the standard classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. It is not always quiet here, especially when school lets out and everyone is trying to head home at the same time. Our teachers are busy people, always grading something or planning for the next week. We deal with the usual school problems like broken chalk, missing pens, or lost sweaters. It is a very grounded place. We don't go in for big, expensive displays or anything like that. We just keep the gates open and the lights on so the teaching can happen. The office is usually a bit cluttered with files and registers, which is pretty normal for a school in Pune. We just do our jobs and try to make sure the kids learn their English and math. It is a steady routine of bells, books, and playground noise that fills our days here in Ambegaon.
