Hari Homemade Food

You can find us over on Chunnambukara Street in Salavanpet. The house number is 457. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. We started Hari Homemade Food right here because this is where we live and work. The smell of cooking is always in the air, especially in the mornings when we get things started. We don't have a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a kitchen and a packing area. Most of the time, the counters are covered with containers and bags. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is tidy. The neighbors often pop their heads in to see what we are making today. It’s a very local feel here. Salavanpet is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We use simple tools, nothing too high-tech. Just spoons, pots, and our own hands for most of it. Sometimes the heat from the stove makes the room very warm, so we keep the windows wide open. We don’t really have a big staff, just family and a couple of helpers from the street. We just want to make food that tastes like it came from a home kitchen, because it actually does. We aren't trying to be a huge brand, just keeping the traditions going in our own small way every single day. We hope the food makes people happy at the end of the day.
