Jai Ho

If you’re walking down Candappa Mudaliyar Street in Pondicherry, you’ll find us at number 105. We just go by the name Jai Ho. It’s a modest spot, really. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit, and we like the feel of the street here. It’s not one of those tourist-heavy places you see in the brochures, just a regular part of town where people live their lives. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR team. It’s just us, the staff, making sure things are running okay every day. Sometimes the street gets a bit dusty or the rain makes it hard for people to reach us, but we stay open regardless. We’ve grown fond of the local crowd. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and feel like you're in a regular neighborhood shop. We don't use big words or try to sell you on some grand vision. We just provide what we provide and hope it’s what you were looking for. 605001 is where we belong. The building itself has its quirks, maybe a creaky door or a flickering light now and then, but it's home to us. It’s a practical business for practical people. No more, no less, just a simple street-side shop for the everyday person.
