We've been here at Langar Toli for a while now. It's a busy spot right opposite Abu Fakhruddin Plaza. Most people find us because of the smell of the rice cooking. We start early every morning getting the pots ready. This place isn't fancy, just some tables and chairs in S.A. Manzil. If you are walking around Patna and want some food, you can just stop by. Sometimes it gets crowded, especially on weekends, but we try to keep up. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the biryani is hot. It’s mostly locals who come in. We see the same faces every week. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People just know where we are. It’s hard work being in the kitchen all day but it's what we do. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside it's just about the meal. We focus on the big handis. If you want a quick lunch or dinner to take home, we do that too. It’s just a regular local shop. Nothing more to it really. We're glad to be part of the neighborhood here. We don't worry about decorations or being modern.
