Top in Town Biryani

We are over on Khagaul Road in Patna, specifically in the Anisabad area. Our building is called Top in Town and we are right near the Chauraha. If you know where the Dominos Pizza is in Anisabad, we are basically opposite that. It’s a very busy intersection and there is always a lot of honking and people moving about at all hours. We focus on biryani because that is what people around here seem to want the most. We started this place because we liked the location and how many people pass by. It’s easy for people to find us even if the traffic is bad. We have a few big pots going all day long and the rice is always cooking. The smell of the spices usually drifts out onto the road and brings people in. We don't have a lot of space for sitting so many people just take their food home to eat with their families. It’s a bit cramped inside when it’s raining outside but we manage. We’ve had the same cooks for a long time now and they know exactly how we like things done. We don't talk about being the best or anything like that, we just keep the fire going and serve the plates as they come. Patna 800002 is a busy place to live and work but we have found our spot here. It's just a local biryani shop doing its thing every day. We are happy to be here.
