Tandoor Hut

You can find us over in P C Colony, specifically in the A/211 building on Kankarbag Road. We are right across from the Jai Prabha Blood Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are. Tandoor Hut is a small place. We don't have much room for big groups, but we manage to fit everyone in somehow. The street outside is one of the busiest in Kankarbagh, so there is constant noise from horns and people talking. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a quick meal. The kitchen is where we spend eighty percent of our time. It’s a lot of chopping, kneading dough, and watching the tandoor. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the same tools we have had for a long time. Our regulars are mostly people who work nearby or live in the colony. They come in for a quick bite and usually stay to chat for a few minutes. We don't have a big mission or a vision; we just want to make sure the food is cooked through and the plates are clean. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, while other days we can barely keep up with the orders. It’s just a normal way to earn a living in Patna. We keep the lights on and the oven hot from morning till night, making sure we are ready when the hunger hits and the evening rush starts up again.
