Our little spot at 4M/163 in B.H. Colony has become a bit of a landmark for the people living nearby. Projayeka Restaurant (Opc) Private Limited is where we put all our energy. It’s right in the middle of Kankarbagh in Patna. This place is run by a small group of us under the care of Asha Sinha. We aren't a big chain restaurant with hundreds of locations. This is just our one spot where we try to cook food that tastes like home. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and it’s usually pretty loud with pots clanging and people shouting orders. We have a few tables out front, but a lot of our neighbors just come by to pick up food to take home. Kankarbagh is a busy residential area, so there’s always someone walking by or stopping in to see what’s cooking. We don't have a fancy decor. It's mostly just functional tables and chairs that are easy to wipe down. We buy our supplies from the local markets in Patna every morning to make sure things are fresh. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes early if it's a busy night. We don't have a professional manager or a marketing person. We just do the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving ourselves. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but when you see people enjoying their meal, it feels worth it. We are just a local Kankarbagh eatery doing our best.
