Biryanie

We've been running Biryanie here in Kankarbagh for a while now. Most people know us because we're right near the Tampu Stand. It's a busy spot, and things get a bit loud outside with all the transport, but inside it's just about the food. We started this place because we liked cooking, and Patna has a lot of people looking for a decent meal after work. The kitchen stays pretty busy during the lunch rush. Sometimes the chairs might be a bit worn out, but we try to keep things clean. Spices are bought from the local market and we just cook the way we know how. It's not a fancy place with waiters in suits or anything like that. You just come in, find a seat, and eat. We are located at D C 10, which isn't hard to find if you're familiar with the area. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is nice and people are out walking around. Our team is small, just a few of us making sure the rice is right and the meat is tender. It's a lot of work, but seeing regular faces come back makes it feel worth it. Music and decorations don't really matter to us as much as the pots on the stove. It’s a simple setup.
