Palji Restaurants

We are located on Station Road in Patna, which is probably one of the busiest streets you can find in the 800001 area. Being so close to the railway station means there is a constant stream of people walking past our doors. Palji Restaurants is a place that never really feels quiet. We open early in the morning when the first trains arrive and stay open until late at night. The furniture is old and a bit mismatched, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big corporate team behind us; it is just a few of us making sure the tea is hot and the food is ready. The noise from the horns and the station announcements is something we have just grown used to over the years. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a mess, and we have to put out extra mats so people don't slip. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just get through the daily grind of serving customers and cleaning up after them. The kitchen is small and gets very hot, but that is just part of the business. Most people come in because they have a train to catch and need a quick bite. We don't try to be anything more than a regular station-side eatery. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, to be honest.
