If you are looking for Orchid Family Restaurant & Banquete Hall, you have to go up to the 4th floor of the Hari Niwas Complex. It is right there on New Dakbanglow Road, just across from Heera Place. Being on the 4th floor means we spend a lot of time worrying about the elevator and making sure guests know where to go when they enter the building. It is a busy corner of Patna, and the noise from the street usually reaches all the way up here. We have the restaurant part and then the banquet hall for bigger things like birthdays or family gatherings. It is a lot of work to flip the hall from one event to another. One day we are setting up chairs for a small meeting, and the next we are moving everything for a wedding party. My hands are usually busy with something, whether it is checking the tablecloths for stains or talking to the guys in the kitchen about the vegetable delivery. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. It is just us trying to keep the floors swept and the food ready for when people arrive. Sometimes it is quiet, and other times we have three events at once and everyone is running around. We just try to stay organized and keep the kitchen running. It is a bit of a climb, but we have been here long enough.
