We are the New Krishna Murari Hindu Hotel, located over on Birla Mandir Road at the Subzi Bagh Chauraha in Patna. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Komal Kurta Emporium. This area of Patna is always full of life and noise, which we have grown to love over the years. Our hotel is a basic place where people come to eat when they are out in the city. We don't have air conditioning or fancy velvet chairs. It is just wooden tables and benches for the most part. We start the fires in the kitchen long before the sun comes up to get the lentils and vegetables going. The smell of the cooking fills the whole building by mid-morning. We don't have a big menu; we just serve the staples that people expect. It is a busy life, and we are usually tired by the time we close up. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to buying the grain. Subzi Bagh is a place where you meet all kinds of people, and they all end up hungry at some point. We don't make any big promises about our place. It is just a kitchen and a dining room where we work hard every single day.
