You can find us at My Tiffins on Sumati Path. We are located care of Ashok Tiwari's place in the Rani Ghat area. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but we stay very busy in the kitchen. We start early in the morning, around five or six, to get everything ready. There is a lot of peeling potatoes and chopping onions that happens before the sun is even fully up. We use big metal tiffins to pack the food. They get stacked up in piles ready for the delivery guys. The kitchen gets really hot once all the burners are going. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to cook the way people like. Rani Ghat is a nice area with a lot of history. We’ve lived here for a long time. People around Sumati Path know us by now. They can usually smell the food cooking when they walk past. We don't do anything too complicated with the meals. It's just the kind of food we eat at home. Sometimes we run late if the market didn't have what we needed, but we always manage to get the boxes out. It is hard work and our backs usually ache by the time we finish cleaning up in the afternoon. But then we do it all again the next day. We like keeping people fed with simple meals from our kitchen.
