People usually find their way to Gorhna by asking locals once they get close. Maulana Azad College Of Engineering & Technology has been sitting here for some years now. It is a big place with several buildings spread out. In the mornings, you see the students walking in from the main road, mostly looking a bit tired if they have an early lab. The campus is pretty quiet most of the time except when classes let out and everyone rushes to get snacks. We have the usual stuff like classrooms, labs with old and new gear, and some dusty books in the library. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have generators that eventually kick in. The teachers live nearby or commute from the city, so they are mostly around during the day. It’s not fancy, just a regular place where people come to study engineering and talk about their exams. In the rainy season, Gorhna gets quite muddy, but the campus stays relatively dry. We spend a lot of time fixing things up when they break, which happens more often than we'd like. Students hang out under the trees when the weather is nice. It’s a plain, functional spot. Most of us have been here long enough that it feels like a second home, despite the long hours. We don’t do a lot of big events, just the basic stuff that keeps a college running. It is what it is, a place for learning.
