Krishna Niketan

Krishna Niketan is situated in Krishna Vihar, right off the New Bypass Road. It is a spot that sees a lot of traffic passing by, but once you step inside, it feels like its own little world. We have been operating here for a while and the place has its own character, for better or worse. The building is functional and we use every bit of space we have for the kids and the classes. Working at Krishna Niketan means you are used to the sound of the New Bypass Road in the distance. We are just a group of people trying to keep this school going every day. There is no fancy marketing speak here. We talk about things like broken desks, lesson plans, and what’s for lunch. It is a very grounded place. The parents who come to Krishna Vihar know us as a regular part of the neighborhood. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall; we just have a schedule that we try our best to follow. Some days are more organized than others, but that is just how it goes with a school. We are a practical choice for families around here who just want a local school that they can reach easily. The staff is local, the kids are local, and we just get on with the business of learning without making it too complicated. It’s just a normal part of life on the New Bypass Road.
