Indian Journal Of Applied And Clinical Sociology

The Indian Journal Of Applied And Clinical Sociology is run out of C/7 in the Bankmen colony over in Kankarbagh. It is a residential area mostly, so it stays pretty quiet around here compared to the main roads of the city. We have stacks of journals and research papers everywhere because that is just the nature of the work we do. People send us articles and we have to go through them and sort out the sociology research one by one. It is a lot of reading and checking things on the computer screens. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with bookshelves and old issues of the journal from years ago. We have been at this address for a long time and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going with mail bins. Kankarbagh is a decent place to work, though the roads can get a bit flooded if it rains too hard during the monsoon season. We do not have a big sign or anything special outside, just the address on the gate. Most of the work is done by a small group of us who care about getting the sociology stuff out there correctly. It is not a fast-paced environment at all, more like a library feel. Sometimes we lose track of time while editing the text. We just try to keep the publication moving along. The internet sometimes cuts out which is annoying, but we manage to get by anyway.
