Habeli Restaurant

Habeli Restaurant is located inside the Samrat International Hotel on Frazer Road. It is a well-known spot in Patna, mostly because we are right near the Sreeleather showroom, which everyone seems to use as a landmark. Being on the ground floor or within a hotel means we get a mix of guests staying upstairs and people just walking in from the street. Frazer Road is always crowded, so there is usually something going on outside. We spend our mornings getting the dining area ready for the day. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations; we just make sure the chairs are straight and the kitchen is stocked. The staff has been here for a bit, so we know how to handle the lunch rush when the office workers come in. It gets a bit hectic around one or two in the afternoon, but then it settles down until dinner. We see a lot of families on the weekends. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood here. We focus on the daily tasks like cleaning and taking orders. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We are just a team of people working in a hotel restaurant trying to make sure the food is ready when someone asks for it. We have seen many shops come and go on Frazer Road but we stay put and keep our kitchen running for the hotel guests and locals.
