Down City Restaurant

Down City Restaurant sits right over here in the Gorakhnath Complex on Boring Canal Road. We've been here for a bit now, right across from where everyone goes to Bikaner Sweets. It's a busy part of Patna, especially with all the people moving through Boring Road every day. Usually, the mornings are spent just getting everything ready before the lunch rush starts. We have a small kitchen team and a few of us out front. Some days it gets pretty loud in here when the tables fill up, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things clean and the fans running so it stays comfortable enough for people to sit and eat. Most of our regulars come from the offices nearby or people just passing through the canal road. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it's been a busy afternoon, but we just let people know. It isn’t a fancy setup or anything. There are wooden chairs and some menus that might have a few marks on them from use. We see the same faces every week, mostly folks looking for a quick meal before they head back to work or home. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the prep and the cleaning, but we’re used to the rhythm of this street by now. Parking around here can be a bit of a headache, but people manage to find a spot somehow. We’re just here doing our thing day in and day out.
