If you find yourself walking along Ashok Rajpath in Patna, you’ll likely see us there at S S Capital Market. We are right across from the Patna Dental College and quite close to the old Patna Market. This whole area in Bankipur is always packed with students and people looking for some good deals. It’s a loud place, full of rickshaws and people talking loudly, but that’s just Patna for you. We’ve been running Biryani King from this spot, and it’s always interesting to see who walks in. One minute it’s a group of students from the college looking for a quick lunch between classes, and the next it’s families who’ve been out shopping for hours. Our space isn't huge, so it gets a bit tight during the peak hours in the afternoon. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it’s just a big rush. The kitchen is always going, and you can smell the food all the way from the street. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look perfect. We just make sure the tables are wiped down and the food is ready when people ask for it. It’s a practical kind of place for regular people. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the crowd on Ashok Rajpath stays just as busy as ever. We just keep doing what we do every day, opening the shutters and getting the rice started. It’s a lot of manual work, but we are used to the rhythm of this market by now.
