Acupressure Clinic

We have been running this small Acupressure Clinic here in Lal Kothi for quite some time now. It’s right near Jama Masjid, so the area is always busy and full of life. Most days, I just open up early and wait for the regulars to stop by. People come in with all sorts of aches, mostly from sitting too much or just getting older. I don’t use any fancy machines, just my hands and some simple tools. The room isn’t very big, but it’s enough for what we do. You can hear the sounds of the street outside while you’re inside, which some people say is distracting, but to me, it’s just the sound of the neighborhood. My family has lived around here for years, so we know most of the faces that walk past the door. Sometimes people just pop their heads in to say hello or ask for directions. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up, but we keep things as tidy as we can. It’s a practical place, really. No velvet chairs or fancy waiting areas. Just a bench and a place to sit while we work on those pressure points. I usually stay until the sun goes down and the calls for prayer start. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, helping people feel a little better each day without making a big fuss about it. We’re just here if you need us.
