Lunglong Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Namtok in the Changlang district. You can find us at Amol Jugli’s place, E 4 in Longlu. It is a quiet spot in Arunachal Pradesh, zip code 792120. We are just a bunch of local farmers who thought it was a good idea to join up. Farming alone is tough, especially when you have to deal with the markets and the transport. So, we put our names together and started this. We spend most of our time out in the fields, but Amol’s house is where we keep the books and meet up to talk. There is not anything fancy about what we do. We grow what the soil allows and try to find the best way to get it to people. The hills around Namtok are beautiful but they make for hard work. We do not have a big staff or a marketing team. It is just us, the people who live here. We know every corner of Longlu and the families who have been here for generations. Sometimes the rain stops us for days, and other times we are working from sunrise to sunset. It is just the way life goes here. We are not looking to change the world; we just want to make sure our local farming stays strong. If you are ever near Namtok, you will see us out there doing what we have always done.
