Lumla Farmers Producer Company Limited is located up in Sazo village. Sonam Rinchin is the one who helps keep things running at our spot near the Lumla post office and police station. We’re just a bunch of neighbors who decided to join up. Farming in these hills is not always the easiest job, so having this company helps us stay a bit more organized. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It's just a few of us handling the daily tasks. We spend most of our time out in the fields or talking to other growers in the village. We aren't trying to be some huge international business. We just want to make sure the work we do here in Lumla pays off for everyone involved. Our meetings are pretty informal.
