Arzooagro Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is based over in Ashali, which is part of Roing in the Lower Dibang Valley. Achu Mito is the one who handles a lot of the work from house number E-45. We are a small group, mostly just friends and neighbors who have been farming in this valley for years. We decided to put this company together so we could have a bit more say in how our produce is sold. It’s not a fancy operation. Most of the time, our meetings happen while we're actually working or over a quick meal. We don't use any of those polished phrases you hear from big city businesses. We just talk about what needs to be done today and what can wait until tomorrow. Life in Roing is pretty quiet, which we like. The work is hard, but it’s honest. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have our land and our community. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the rules for companies, but we do our best to stay organized. We’re just local people trying to make things a little better for the farmers around Ashali. It’s a practical way of living, and we’re happy to be doing it together. We don't need much more than some good weather and a bit of luck with the crops each season.
