Yachna Textiles

Yachna Textiles is located over at 71 Kartar Shah Nagar in Model Town. It’s a busy little area, and we’re right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time surrounded by rolls of fabric and different materials. There is always a lot of dust from the threads, so we’re constantly cleaning up. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. Some of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We don’t really do anything too complicated. People come in, they look at what we have, and we talk about what they need for their projects. Sometimes the orders are big, and other times it’s just someone looking for a small piece of cloth. We try to keep the shelves organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during the busy season. The lighting in the back isn't great, but we manage. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It's just a local textile place where we work hard and go home. We like the routine of it. Every morning starts the same way with a cup of tea and looking over the stock. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working with our hands and talking to the folks who drop by to see us in Model Town.
