A.G. Woollen Mills

You will find A.G. Woollen Mills at T-7 in the Industrial Area. The location is exactly what you would expect from an industrial zone—lots of gray buildings and trucks moving around. We work with wool, so the inside of T-7 is usually filled with the smell of raw fiber and the sound of machines spinning. It can get a bit dusty with all the wool flying around, but we are used to it by now. The winters here are when we are busiest, for obvious reasons. We don't have any fancy decorations in the mill. The focus is entirely on the machines and the product. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy sacks and making sure the spindles are running right. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the quirks of the old machinery. The building itself is a bit worn out, with some stains on the floor and high ceilings that echo, but it does the job. There aren't any big marketing teams or sales offices here. If you come to T-7, you’ll just find people working hard. We drink our tea in the small break area and then get back to the floor. It is a tough job sometimes, especially when it’s hot, but it is what we do. A.G. Woollen Mills is just a place where wool gets processed, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the gears turning.
