Bath-N-Beyond

We opened this place at 580 Huda in Phase-II, right in Sector 11-12. It’s been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us organizing the faucets and looking at the tile displays. People from around the neighborhood stop by when their sinks break or they finally decide to change those old bathroom fittings. The shop isn't fancy. There’s usually a bit of dust on the lower shelves because we get deliveries every Tuesday. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors who know exactly what they want and then we have the families who aren't quite sure about the colors. My desk is tucked in the corner behind some shower head boxes. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when the new stock arrives and we have to stack the basins. We try to keep things organized but it’s a lot of heavy lifting. The light in the back of the store flickers sometimes but we know where everything is. You can find us pretty easily if you know the Huda area. We don't have a big sign but the door is always open during the day. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the inventory matches what the books say. We’ve seen the sector change quite a bit over the years as more houses went up. It keeps us busy enough. Sometimes we just sit and have tea while waiting for the next truck to pull up with the ceramics.
