Ahuja Exports

If you head over to Geeta Colony and look for number 101, you will find us there. Ahuja Exports has been operating from this spot for quite a bit of time now. Geeta Colony is one of those places where everyone seems to know everyone else, and there is always something going on in the lanes. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a regular brick structure that has seen a lot of years. Inside, it is mostly boxes and packing tape. We do a lot of counting and checking of manifests to make sure everything is where it should be. The ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the air moving, especially when we are busy packing up a big order. It isn't the most glamorous job, but it keeps us occupied and the bills paid. We usually have lunch together on one of the larger tables if it isn't covered in paperwork. The noise from the street filters in through the windows, so we always know when the vegetable seller or the scrap collector is passing by. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years and know exactly where everything is kept. It is a bit disorganized to an outsider’s eye, perhaps, but we have our own system that works just fine for us at the end of the day.
