Rug Tex

You can find our workshop at E-65 in the Industrial Area. It is a large block with many other factories and businesses around us. We focus mainly on rugs and floor coverings, just like our name says. The whole place usually has a bit of a smell of wool and dyes, which you get used to after a few minutes. We have these large looms and metal racks where we hang the finished rugs to dry out. It can be a very dusty job, so we all wear old clothes because things tend to get stained or dirty pretty easily. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights or displays. If you want to see the rugs we have made, we just flip through the big stacks on the concrete floor. It is a much more practical way to do things for us. The floor is made of cold concrete and it can get quite chilly in the winter time. We keep a small electric stove in the corner so we can make tea throughout the day. Most of our workers have been with us since we first opened up. They know all the patterns and designs by heart now. Sometimes we try out some new colors just to see how they look on the loom. We are not trying to be a massive company. We just want to make sure the rugs we send out are sturdy and look alright in someone's house.
