Panchgrami Kisan Producer Companylimited is located at Plot No 32 in Sarsana. That’s near Barwala. We chose the name Panchgrami because we have farmers from five different villages working together. Sarsana is our main hub. Plot 32 is a simple place where we store some things and meet to talk. It’s not a fancy business setup at all. There’s usually a bit of dust around and the furniture is old. We don’t have a mission statement or any promotional goals. We just want to help the kisan in our area get a better deal. Barwala is the closest town, so we go there often for supplies. Running this company is a lot of work and we don't always get it right. Sometimes the records are a bit messy. But we are all local people and we trust each other. We spend our days worrying about the crops and the prices. It’s a very basic and practical operation. We don’t have a marketing team to tell our story. We just do what we have always done, which is farm the land and look after our community. Plot 32 is just a regular plot where we gather to try and make things work. It’s nothing special, just us. We are just trying to make a living and keep our traditions alive while dealing with the modern business world in Sarsana.
