You can find us at Plot Number 09 in the village of Chhan, which is part of the Barwala tehsil. We named the company after Baba Jitgiri because he is a big figure in our local history and we wanted that name to represent us. This is a kissan producer company, meaning it belongs to the farmers who work the fields around here. We are not trying to be fancy or pretend to be something we are not. We are just local people who know how to grow crops and want to make sure the business side of things does not fall behind. The office in Chhan is where we gather to sign papers or plan out the next planting cycle. It is a small place but it serves our needs just fine. We have had some good years and some lean years, but being together as a company helps us stay steady. Barwala is a busy area and there is always something happening in the markets, so we have to stay alert. We do not have a marketing department or anyone with a tie and suit. Most of us are usually wearing our field clothes even when we are doing the company work. It is a practical way of living. We talk to the other farmers in the village every day and try to help out when someone has a problem with their machinery or their soil.
