Gigraj Agro Farmers Producer Company

We are based in Village Bhoj Tipra, which is up in the Morni area of Panchkula. It is a hilly place and farming here is not the same as on the flat plains. A few of us farmers got together to form this company because doing things alone was getting harder as the years went by. Most days we are busy looking after the crops and making sure things are moving along. The weather can be a bit tricky here in the hills but we manage with what we have. People know us around here because we have lived in this village for a long time. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a spot where we meet and talk about what needs to be done next for our land. We handle the paperwork and the selling part of the farming work so the individual members do not have to worry about every little detail themselves. Sometimes it gets quite busy during the harvest months and everyone is out in the fields from morning until it gets dark. We mostly just focus on what grows well in this part of Haryana. It is quiet work and we do not spend much time on the computer or making big plans. We just take it day by day and try to make sure everyone gets a fair deal for what they grow.
