Shakti Granite

We are located right opposite the Saibaba Temple on the Abu Highway. Being near the Patel Hotel makes us pretty easy to find if you are driving along that stretch. We have been working with granite here for quite a few years now. The yard is usually full of slabs and there is always a layer of dust on everything, but that’s just the way it goes with stone. We spend the day outside mostly, moving pieces around and showing them to people who pull over. Since we are on the highway, we get a lot of travelers and builders stopping by. It’s a noisy spot with all the trucks passing, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning. We just have a small shack where we keep the records and sit down for tea. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so it’s very informal. We don't bother with big slogans or marketing. If someone likes a piece of granite, we talk about the price and how to get it to their site. The temple across the road brings in a lot of people on certain days, so it can get crowded. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. It is hard work, especially when it’s hot, but we enjoy being outdoors and working with the stone.
