Chetak Marble

Chetak Marble is situated out on the Abu Road Highway at Malana Padia. Being on the highway means we see a lot of trucks and travelers passing through at all hours. We’ve set up our yard here so there is plenty of room for the big vehicles to pull in and out. It’s a practical location for us. We handle a lot of marble, and it’s heavy, dusty work that keeps us busy from morning until night. There isn't much in the way of a front office, usually, you’ll find us out back near the cutting area. We try to keep a decent selection so that when someone stops by, they have a few choices to look at. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, which makes the stone quite hot to the touch. We’ve been operating this way for years, just focusing on the material and getting it loaded for the customers. It is a bit out of the way for some, but being right on the highway helps. We don't do much advertising; mostly it’s just people seeing the sign while they are driving. The stones come in from all over, and we sort them out as they arrive. It’s a simple business, really. We just show up, do the work, and help people find what they need for their floors or walls. If you’re driving toward Abu Road, look for the Malana Padia area and you’ll find us.
