Sreekrishnapuram Karshakasree Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over here at Katampazhipuram, right in the Lakshmi Building. It's really close to the post office so you can't miss it if you are walking by. Most of the time it is just a few of us sitting around talking about the crops and trying to figure out the paperwork for the farmers. This isn't some fancy big office with glass walls or anything. We have some wooden chairs and a lot of registers that always seem to get dusty because of the road right outside. Sreekrishnapuram Karshakasree Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just a group of people from the area who know what it is like to work in the dirt all day. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get work done, especially when the roof leaks a little near the back corner, but we manage. People stop in to ask about seeds or just to complain about the weather and how it affects the harvest. It gets quite loud when the buses go past on the main road. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a map. It’s a bit cramped when more than five people come in at once, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things simple here without any of those big corporate rules. Just local people doing what they can for the other farmers around Katampazhipuram. It's mostly just honest work and trying to keep everything moving.
