Gopalak Dairy Farm Llp

Gopalak Dairy Farm Llp is located at Kallukettukalamchettiyar Padam in Pallassana. We are surrounded by wide fields, which is what "Padam" means in our language. It’s a very green and open area. You can usually hear the cows from the main road before you even see the farm gate. We have been here for a good while. The name Gopalak comes from the old names for people who look after cattle. It felt right for what we do every day. The farm itself has a lot of open space. We have the sheds for the cows and a small room where we handle the books and the daily milk orders. It’s not a fancy office at all. There is usually a bit of hay on the floor and the smell of the farm is everywhere you go. Pallassana is a quiet village where everyone knows your name. We start work very early, usually while it is still dark and cold outside. That is when the cows need us the most. By the time the sun is up, we are already a bit tired but the day is just starting. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us in the Padam. The building is made of stone and has stayed the same for years. It’s a lot of manual labor, cleaning the stalls and feeding.
