Maniram Traders

At 50/16, in a house called 'Sreyas' in the T. R. S. Colony of Olavakkode, you’ll find the home base for Maniram Traders. It’s a quiet residential area in Palakkad, so it’s not like those big industrial zones. We run the business right from here, which makes it feel much more personal. Most of our day involves talking to local suppliers and checking on orders for the community. The weather in Kerala can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the rain and if it will delay our deliveries. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a big table where we spread out all the ledgers. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who help with the heavy lifting and the records. People in the colony know us well, and sometimes they stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. It’s a small-scale operation, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth. It’s a practical way to live and work, and we like the slow pace of Olavakkode. We just focus on getting the right goods to the right people and keeping our neighbors happy. It’s honest work and it’s been our way of life for a long time. We try to keep everything as simple and direct as possible.
