You can find us at Pushpa Nivas, which is Building No.Skp.11/172 over in Mangalamkunnu. We are part of the Kattukulam P.O. area. It’s a quiet enough spot, and we like it that way for the most part. At Sivagiri Agro General Exports Private Limited, we handle a lot of the logistics for moving goods out. It might sound like a big operation since we do exports, but really it is just a few of us working out of this building. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking crates. The office isn't anything special, just desks and a lot of lists of what needs to go where. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little overwhelming, especially with all the rules for sending things abroad, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff from our local area gets to the people who bought it in good condition. Most mornings start with a tea and a look at the schedule for the trucks. If things go smooth, we’re happy. If there’s a delay at the port or a problem with the harvest, we just have to sit down and figure out a way around it. It’s practical work, nothing too flashy, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the seasons here in Mangalamkunnu over the years.
