Menons International

Out here in Pothundy, near Nemmara, is where you’ll find Menons International. It’s a quiet part of Kerala compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We do a lot of different things here, mostly involving trade and moving goods around. The name sounds a bit grand, but we’re really just a small group of people working out of an office in a small town. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we spend our hours answering calls and checking on shipments. The pace here in Nemmara is a bit slower, which gives us time to actually think. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the locals know who we are even if they don’t quite understand everything we do. We don’t spend money on big ads or marketing people. We just rely on the work we’ve done and the people we’ve met over the years. Some days are just spent waiting for emails to arrive from other parts of the world. It’s interesting to be in a small place like Pothundy but connected to so many other spots. We have our ups and downs like any other place. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work when we can. It gets humid in the summer, but that's just part of life here.
