V M R Stones

V M R Stones is located at 5-95 in Koppolu. We are quite easy to find because we are right near the Chennakesava Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our yard while we are working. We deal with stones of all kinds, and they are piled up pretty high around our gate. It is a bit of a dusty job, and your hands stay rough from handling the material all day. We have been in Koppolu for quite some time, and the temple is a constant presence for us. People often stop by after visiting the temple to ask about stone for their houses or walls. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are mostly in old shirts and boots, moving things around and talking to truck drivers. The pace of work depends on the orders we get. Some weeks are incredibly busy and we are working until it gets dark, and other weeks are a bit quieter. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Our reputation in the local area is what keeps us going. Most people know us by name. It’s a simple business, really. We get the stones in, we sort them, and we send them out. There is something satisfying about working with something as solid as stone every day. We just try to stay honest and do the work that’s in front of us without complaining too much about the heat or the weight.
