Up on the 10th floor of D Mall, things feel a bit different from the street level. We are in 1002 A, right in the middle of Netaji Subhash Place. Pitam Pura is always humming with people, especially around the mall. From up here, you can see the traffic and the crowds down below. We handle food products, but from the administrative side mostly. There are a lot of files and computer screens in our office. The elevators in the mall can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we’ve learned to plan our breaks around that. It's a busy atmosphere with people coming and going for shopping or meetings. We mostly talk to suppliers and distributors on the phone. The office isn't overly decorated, just functional desks and a small pantry for our midday chai. Working in a mall means there’s always something happening nearby, but we stay tucked away in our corner. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure the food orders are processed correctly. Sometimes we have samples around, which is a nice treat. We’ve been here long enough to know the security guards and the other office folks on our floor. It’s just a standard day-to-day operation, keeping the food supply chain moving from our desks in the sky. It gets quiet in the evenings once the mall starts winding down and we finish up our last logs for the day.
