National Masala Mills

We are located up on the 7th floor of the Big Joss Tower in Netaji Subash Place. It’s a busy building in the Wazirpur District Centre, and the elevators are always packed with people heading to different offices. National Masala Mills might sound like a huge factory, but our administrative side happens right here in the middle of all the city noise. Even though we are in a modern tower, you can still catch the faint scent of spices if you’ve been working with the samples all day. Our office is usually cluttered with notebooks, sample pouches, and tea cups. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to the mills or coordinating with the distributors who are stuck in the Delhi traffic downstairs. Looking out the window, you can see the whole district moving below, but inside, we are just focused on getting the orders right. It gets a bit hectic around the end of the month when all the tallies need to be finished. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to happen next. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the commute to Wazirpur can be a bit of a headache some days.
