About Baba Mayur Saah – Food & Beverages in North West Delhi
Our little spot is at C-8 in the Bea Market. This is over in Rohini Sector 8. Most people around here know the Gurudwara, and we are quite close to that. It’s a nice landmark to have. The market is usually bustling, especially during the festive seasons. We go by Baba Mayur Saah. It’s a small shop, nothing too grand. We’ve got some shelves and a small counter where we sit. It gets a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at once. Rohini is a big area, but Sector 8 has its own local feel. You see the same faces every day. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to ask for something. We don't use any fancy computers or systems here. Everything is mostly done by hand or kept in old notebooks. It works for us. The air is always filled with the sounds of the market and the nearby temple and Gurudwara. It makes the day go by fast. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi. We just want to stay open and keep doing what we've been doing for years. If you're in the market, just look for the C-8 sign. We're usually there. The neighboring shops often share a pot of tea with us during the slow hours.
