Golden Masala Company

Our spot is at G-25 on Lawrence Road, right in the industrial area. Golden Masala Company has been in this unit for a while. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s noisy and there’s always trucks moving around. We fit right in. The work here is mostly about sorting, grinding, and getting everything into the right bags. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but we don't mind. We have a few machines that keep humming all day long. The air always smells like cumin and black pepper. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone in an apron or carrying a heavy sack. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for showing off. We deal with suppliers and vendors every day, and most of them have become friends over the years. We’ve had some long days here, especially when a machine breaks down or the shipments are late. But we just fix what needs fixing and keep going. Lawrence Road is a busy place to be, and we like the pace of it. We just focus on our own corner of the industrial area and try to get the orders out on time. It’s a straightforward business with no real secrets. We just do the work and go home.
