You can find us in Shahdara over at R.S. Block, specifically in Gali No. 14 on Jharkhandi Road. If you know Delhi, you know how these streets are. They are narrow and always full of people, rickshaws, and carts. Our place is at number 132. It is a small space, but we make it work for everything we do. We have lived and worked in this area for years, so we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. The street is always loud with the sounds of people talking and the occasional scooter trying to squeeze past. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of stuff on the shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, the front door is just half-open to keep some of the street noise out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our notebooks. When the rain comes, the street gets a bit messy, but that’s just part of living in Shahdara. We take our tea from the small shop at the corner of the Gali, and that’s usually when we catch up on the local news. It is a busy, crowded way to work, but we wouldn’t really know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office.
