Gargi Cosmetic & Gift Shop

Gargi Cosmetic & Gift Shop is tucked away at C-92 on the Third Pusta in Shastri Park. We’ve been sitting here on Som Bajar Road for quite some time. It is a mix of things really, since we have both cosmetics and gift items under one roof. Women from the neighborhood come by for their daily stuff like bangles, bindis, or some face creams. Then we have the gift section for when there is a celebration. Shastri Park is a crowded place and our shop reflects that. It is packed with items. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights like the malls. It’s just a local shop where we know many of the customers by name. We see people during the Som Bajar market days especially when the road gets really full. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small things like lipsticks and small toys. We just do our best to keep things in stock. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next delivery. That's just how it goes. If you are walking down Som Bajar Road, you can't miss us. We are just a small business trying to provide what the local people need for their homes and for themselves. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We hope people find what they need and leave with a smile.
