Little Hearts Gift Gallery is tucked away in Gali No 2, near Shivaji Park in the Pratap Pura area of Shahdara. Our address is 2786802, which sounds like a lot of numbers, but it’s just our spot on the map. We’ve got a variety of things on the shelves, from small toys to cards and little trinkets. It’s the kind of place where kids come in after school to look at the stickers. We try to keep the shop tidy, but when you have so many small gift items, things tend to get a bit cluttered. It’s a local neighborhood shop, so we know many of the people who walk through the door. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just see what people like and try to keep those things in stock. The street outside is usually full of bikes and people walking to the park. Sometimes the neighborhood kids get a bit loud, but it adds to the atmosphere. We’ve been here for a while and the shop has become a part of our daily life. It’s not about being the biggest gift gallery in Delhi. It’s just about having a nice place where someone can find a small something for a birthday or a special day. We spend our time dusting the glass cases and chatting with the neighbors. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’re quite content with our little corner of Shahdara near Shivaji Park.
